I think it is fair to say that many of the world’s problems revolve around difficulties with communication.
It is hard for spouses to understand each other, hard for business leaders to agree, hard for governments to negotiate and of course it is hard for parents to talk to their teenagers.
I want to support you in building a stronger, more connected and enjoyable relationship with your teenager in 2014.
Stay tuned for the awesomeness coming this month and next. I am working on a special report, some helpful articles, a video project and a really great teleclass for you.
Today, I just want you to think about one area of communication that you can work on with your teenager.
You may need to work on . . .
- Listening more deeply
- Sharing your feelings directly
- Communicating your expectations clearly
- Showing more interest and curiosity in your teen’s life
- Asking better questions
Try adding some purposeful intention to the love that you already have for your teenager and see what happens.
